Adjusting .doc file extensions for Template
Issues
Sometimes
templates (ALT-M) won't open in EditScript and instead open in a separate
Microsoft Word window. This is usually due to an issue where Windows doesn't
have the correct information set up for the Microsoft Word .doc file extension.
In order to fix this try the following:
First make sure that you are signed out of Editscript MT.
Open up any
folder and choose the folder options
from the Tools menu.
Select the File Types tab and scroll down to the
DOC extension. Highlight the DOC
extension and click on the Advanced
button.
Make sure that Browse
in same window is checked.
You should
now be able to log back into EditScript and use templates without any problems.
